Modifying the Cinnamon Start Menu in Linux Mint 14

Very quick tip for you on how to customize your Cinnamon Start Menu in Linux Mint 14.  I’m only posting this because I spent more time on discovering this than I had to.  The problem for me was that it was too easy.  I was trying to make it more difficult, going into Cinnamon Settings and so forth.

To get started simply hover over the menu icon and right-click where you’ll see the following menu.

Select “Edit Menu” where you’ll be able to hide, remove and relocate menu items and applications.  There is no “move” function, but simply duplicate an item from one area to another if you wish it to appear in another menu.

I thought you’d agree that it was too easy!
